YORKSHIRE VISIT

JULY 10TH 11TH and 12TH

A small group of Early Ford V8 club members were invited by the Allard owners club to join them on their annual pilgrimage to The North Yorkshire Moors (Heartbeat Country).

All of the Allards in the group were based upon Ford V8 running gear and featured Flathead V8 engines,.

EFV8 Club members taking part were Geoff and Sheila Smith, Karl Green,

Godfrey and Ann-Marie Cohen and finally Mick and Sally Gamble.

On the Saturday the cars were parked at Pickering Station Yard as part of the

classic vehicle display organised throughout the weekend by The North Yorkshire Steam Railway, vehicles were displayed at all of the stations between

Pickering and Whitby, including Goathland were Heartbeat was filmed.

On Sunday we drove over the Moors to Grosmont where we spent the day,

and took advantage of half price travel on the Railway.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of

The Allard Owners Club for their hospitality throughout the weekend.
